1. The Sanctuary of Truth
The Sanctuary of Truth is an unfinished museum in Pattaya that is a hybrid of temple and castle, built on the theme of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and Hindu beliefs. This majestic place offers multiple photo spots such as the wooden castle itself located in the center, the surrounding beaches or the beautifully handcrafted sculptures in the castle.
- Shooting Tips: The best photographs that can be taken at this place is the full view of the castle and beach together. We recommend using a wide lens for this. If you like taking a closeup photoshoot of the interior, we recommend using a DSLR camera with a macro lens to capture the details in the castle.

- Shooting Tips: There are many angles you can take photos at this place. For capturing the scene, a wide angle lens is recommended. For filling up the frame with flowers or plants, we recommend a telephoto. Otherwise, a closeup photos of plants are also preferred by many people. For this, we recommend using a lens having focal length between 100 mm-110 mm to help capture the best shot.

Jomtien Beach is the second major beach in Pattaya, located in the Na Chomtien district. This 6 km long beach is famous for its serenity and beautiful, cleaner view compared to the main beach in the Pattaya’s second road
- Shooting Tips: There are various angles you take photos from. For instance, a long-walk along with beach is a good start. Here, a wide lens is preferred to help capture the object and the sea view in the background. Another famous one is the sun set by the beach photo. We recommend to set your ISO low so your photo won’t come out grainy while increase the shutter speed to minimize exposure time.

5. Big Buddha & Pratumnak View Point
Big Buddha (also known as Wat Phra Yai) is an enormous statue of the Buddha sitting in the lotus posture, overlooking Pattaya and Jomtien from Pratamnak Hill. This 18-metre (59-feet) golden statue is the largest Buddha image in Chonburi province. Nearby the image locates the viewpoint where you can witness a panoramic view of Pattaya city and the gulf.
- Shooting Tips: The obvious 2 photos that you can take from this spot is the Buddha statue and the panoramic view of the city. For the statue, make sure to stand back and set your zoom lens to cop tighter for maximum exposure. For the view, we recommend a lens between 35 mm-80 mm using a DSLR camera for maximum photo quality.

- Shooting Tips: For beautiful beach photographs, we recommend using wide lens to capture the whole scene and lower the ISO of your camera for sunset photo. For underwater pictures, we recommend going with a DSLR camera with both wide and macro lens. For macro lens, go with a lens with a focal length of 60 mm for beginners, and 100 mm or 105 mm for a more advanced photographers.
